We recommend arriving early to avoid lines and allow enough time to complete all registered events.
The competitions have a hard stop at 6:00 PM.

💣 Home Run Derby

📋 Rules:

• Each player receives 12 pitches.
• The player must provide their own pitcher.
• Most home runs wins.

📏 Fence Distances:

• 8U: 125 ft
• 9U–10U: 150 ft
• 11U–12U: 175 ft
• 13U–14U: 225 ft

⚠️ Only legal USSSA-approved bats are permitted.

💪 Golden Arm Accuracy Challenge

📋 Rules:

• Each player receives 5 throws at the BowNet.
• Hit the BowNet: 1 point.
• Hit the BowNet in the air: 2 points.
• Ball enters the BowNet from the air and remains in the net: 5 points.
• Highest point total wins.

📏 Throwing Distances:

• 7U–8U: 100 ft
• 9U–10U: 125 ft
• 11U–14U: 150 ft

💣 Home Run Derby

📋 Tie-Breakers Applied in Order:

• Fewest pitches needed to reach the final home run total.
• Fewest pitches before recording the first home run.
• Most consecutive pitches before the first out or pitch taken.
• Swing-by-swing performance comparison.

If all applicable tie-breakers have been applied and a winner still cannot be determined, a re-compete will be held to determine the champion. The Tournament Director reserves the right to interpret and apply these rules as necessary to ensure fair competition. The Tournament Director’s decision is final in all matters relating to the Skills Competitions.
